Passion Helps Achieve Success. Wszystkie branże- PRZYIMKI! (dostęp abonamentowy)

Passion contributes to  focus

  • passionate about … – z pasją podchodzący do …
  • interested in … – zainteresowany …

“Passion” is a state of mind: if we are passionate about  job, we are interested in the outcomes of work-product. Consequently, we become more focused.

NAGRANIE WYMOWY

Passion fosters creativity

  • result in … – wywoływać … / przynieść … / spowodować …

Working with passion ensures that you have more success, rather than failures. It increases engagement levels, which results in being more creative. This facilitates generation of better ideas and results.

Passion sets up for excellence

  • win at … – wygrać w …
  • vested in … – przygotowany / gotowy na …
  • excel at … – odnosić sukcesy w …
  • perform at … level – poradzić sobie na … poziomie
  • fend off – trzymać z daleka
  • look back at … – wspominać / wracać myślami do …
  • resort to … – uciec się do … / sięgnąć po …

When we do work with passion, we want to win at everything we do. We become vested in excelling at  tasks. Then, we always perform at optimal levels. People who achieved something significant in their career say that they have had to fend off various problems and obstacles. If you look back at your achievements, it will remind you of the situations when you had to resort to the levels of your personal strength to overcome problems.

Passions helps stress management

  • stressed out – zestresowany / wypalony / mający dość
  • come across – napotkać / spotkać (synonim dla encounter)
  • navigate around – ominąć / pominąć

If we have passion at work,  we tend to be less stressed out. Passionate people enjoy the tasks they perform. When they come across  problems, they are able to navigate around them. As a result, they manage stress far better than someone who is dispassionate about their work, and feels like a victim.

Passion helps cope with workload

  • cope with … – radzić sobie z …
  • at work – w pracy
  • prerequisite for – warunek dla …

We spend the majority of day  hours at work. Surely, doing something we are passionate about is a prerequisite for making these hours enjoyable. The trick is to do work that doesn’t seem like a burden.

Passion results in the right attitude

  • care about … – dbać o … / troszczyć się o …
  • founded on … – oparty na
  • attitude to … / towards … – stosunek do …

The most successful individuals care deeply about their work.  This type of passion ensures that outlook is founded on purpose. And this directly affects attitude towards everything.

Tryby warunkowe/ Teoria + Test/ Intermediate (B) (dostęp otwarty)

PIERWSZY TRYB WARUNKOWY

If I get this promotion, I will earn much more money.

czas teraźniejszy·····················czas przyszły (tryb warunkujący dokonanie pewnej czynności w przyszłości od innego zdarzenia, innej czynności)

DRUGI TRYB WARUNKOWY
If I got this promotion, I would earn much more money.

czas przeszły···················· would+ czasownik (drugi tryb warunkowy to takie typowe „gdybanie”)

TRZECI TRYB WARUNKOWY
If I had got this promotion a year ago, I would have earned much more money.

czas Past Perfect··································· czas Future Perfect in the Past (would+ have+ III forma czasownika) wyraża warunek niemożliwy do spełnienia bo odnoszący się do przeszłości. Czynniki określające warunek wykonanie czynności nie nastąpiły, w związku z tym czynność nie została wykonana

UWAGA!!!

W języku polskim istnieją dwa tryby warunkowe. Polacy wyrażają znaczenia angielskiego trzeciego trybu warunkowego za pomocą trybu drugiego, dodając jedynie określenie czasu w przeszłości.

If I had a chance, I would go to this job interview.
Gdybym miał szansę, poszedłbym na tę rozmowę kwalifikacyjną.
If I had had a chance last month, I would have gone to this job interview

If I take a low interest loan, I will have no problems to pay it back = I will have no problems to· pay back, if I take a low interest loan.

Zamiast ‘if’ stosuje się wiele innych łączników, np.

when (gdy), as long as (jeśli tylko) , assuming (that) (zakładając, że) , even if (nawet jeśli), if only (jeśli tylko) , on the condition that (pod warunkiem, że) , unless (jeśli nie), in case (na wypadek).

Wyrażanie planów. Gramatyka. Poziom B.

  1. Decyzje podejmowane w chwili mówienia: czasownik modalny will.
  2. Luźne plany, jeszcze nie do końca pewne. Wyrażenie intencji/ zamiaru: konstrukcja to be going to.
  3. Plany, których realizacja jest pewna. Za nami już przygotowania, etc. Present Continuous.

Np.

Passive

We use passive when:

1. When the agent of the action is not important or at least the action itself is more important than who did it.

3. When you want to provide additional information later on in the sentence instead of making another sentence.

Please remember:

1. When you make an active sentence passive, you must always keep the tense of the sentence. Otherwise, you change the meaning and you might say something else that you have intended to.

2. You do not normally use Passive with Perfect Continuous tenses,  as well as Future Continuous.

3. You introduce the agent using ‘by’ and the tool using ‘with’

Kennedy was assassinated by Harvey Oswald with a gunshot.

4. If ‘someone’ or ‘somebody’ is the subject of the active sentence you do not make it the agent of the passive sentence. Just omit it.

Somebody stole the car is changed into passive as The car was stolen

5. If the passive sentence does not have an agent and you want to make it active, use ‘they’.

My car was stolen- They stole my car.

Subject (podmiot) ‘to be’ in the appropriate tense form III form
The prize                      will be presented
